Interactive activities lessons include
We believe that when kids enjoy learning, they remember it better and feel motivated to keep going! That’s why Smart Money for Kids brings financial education to life with fun, interactive activities designed to make understanding money feel like a game. Here’s a look at the types of activities in each lesson:
Interactive Videos: Our videos explain money concepts in a friendly, easy-to-follow format. Kids can pause, answer questions, and explore different choices right within the video, helping them connect lessons to real-life decisions.
Drag the Words: This activity helps kids build financial vocabulary. By dragging words to complete sentences, kids gain confidence in their understanding of terms like “budget,” “spending,” and “saving”—a hands-on approach that makes learning feel intuitive.
Put in Order: Kids arrange events in the correct sequence, like the history of money or steps in creating a budget. This activity strengthens logical thinking and reinforces their understanding of financial processes, making abstract ideas easier to grasp.
Pairing Games: Matching activities help kids connect words with their definitions, such as matching “credit card” with its meaning. These games build strong, lasting associations that support kids as they encounter these terms in the real world.
Crosswords: Our money-themed crosswords make learning key terms enjoyable. Kids solve clues related to saving, spending, and earning, making each concept memorable and reinforcing their financial vocabulary through fun puzzles.
Recording: At the end of each lesson, kids are asked to record the three main things they learned. This activity helps them remember what they’ve learned and reinforces their understanding of today’s topic.
Each of these activities is designed to engage kids, enhance their understanding, and make learning about money an experience they look forward to!
